Text Box: Can shoes cause recurrent injuries?

The human body is incredibly adaptable, but whenever you are forced to repetitively perform an abnormal pattern of movement, your risk of particular injuries will increase. If you are unlucky enough to be in that proportion of the population who are most sensitive to this change, you will end up with chronic or recurrent injuries.

Running in modern running shoes is a perfect example of an artificial movement pattern that is highly repetitive and potentially injurious. If you are in the unlucky group who have found yourself in the frequently injured group and you have normal feet, then the Barefoot on Grass is for you!
